JOB ROLE: PROPERTY CLAIMS HANDLER

LOCATION: MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE, HYBRID-WORKING (3 DAYS FROM HOME)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is an exclusive and exciting opportunity for a Property Claims Handler to work for one of our key clients, an expanding European Insurance Company working out of state-of-the-art offices in Manchester City Centre.

As Property Claims Handler, you will be joining a growing claims operation, working for a unique insurance company challenging the UK market. With rapid growth and a wealth of opportunity, they are now recruiting for an experienced Claims Handler to join their Commercial Property team.

With a real focus on Property Claims, you will have a good grounding in this class of business. You will handle claims from cradle to grave, being heavily involved in trading with major brokers and will also meet clients on a face-to-face basis when required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • You will need to have proven experience in handling Property Claims from cradle to grave, having strong analytical ability and being technically competent.
  • Ideally you will have experience in Commercial Property, however applicants with strong Household Claims experience with the right temperament and desire to get into Commercial will also be considered.
  • This role will suit a competent yet driven individual looking to be part of a business that likes to challenge, yet also be challenged.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as this will be a role where you may need to interrogate, interview and probe where necessary to get the right result.
  • Being confident in your own ability and good decision making is immensely important.
