Job summary : Pay: 15.01- 30.02 per hour Job Description: Join a dynamic delivery team supporting thousands of customers across the UK with their home improvement dreams. Taskmaster are working in partnership with the UK's largest DIY retailer and are looking for skilled HGV Class 2 drivers to work out of the Doncaster warehouse on their home delivery network. The role is vital to the success of the business and we are looking for drivers who share our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. Position Overview Role: Delivery Driver (two-person crew) Salary: 36,192.00 per annum ( 15.01 ph) Location: Doncaster DN11 Schedule: 48-hour work week, 5 out of 7 days Purpose: Deliver home improvement products on behalf of the UK's largest DIY retailer to private households Key Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide high-quality, professional delivery experience Ensure Prompt and Safe Delivery: Orders delivered on time and in perfect condition Customer Engagement: Build rapport with customers, manage queries professionally Room-to-Room Delivery: Handle items with care, deliver to customer's chosen room Documentation Accuracy: Complete paperwork and electronic documentation efficiently Health & Safety Commitment: Conduct risk assessments, follow safe practices, report incidents Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to driving and working time regulations Continuous Development: Attend training for skill enhancement Experience & Qualifications Valid Licensing: Class 2 licence, CPC licence, Digi Card Good Driving Record: No more than 3 points on licence Professional Presentation: Smart appearance, strong customer service skills Flexibility & Punctuality: Adaptable shifts, reliable timekeeping Time-Critical Service: Meet agreed delivery targets Experience Behind the Wheel: Retail or commercial driving preferred; multi-drop experience advantageous Physical Capability: Heavy lifting required (e.g., washing machines, kitchen units) Additional Note : A DBS check will be conducted for all successful applicants.
