Warehouse Supervisor

Vanta Staffing Slough are currently recruiting on behalf of our leading Building Supplier client for a Warehouse Supervisor, based in Slough. Successful candidates benefit from a temp to perm opportunity & pay rate of £25,000 to £27,000

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will need to have:

• Good leadership skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of the legal requirements of operating a warehouse
• Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety standards
• Possess planning and organising skills
• Possess initiative and decisiveness
• Ability to work well with a team and independently
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team

Pay of Warehouse Supervisor:

• £25,000 to £27,000, depending on exp

Warehouse Supervisor Shifts:

• Monday to Friday, 0600 to 1400 or 0900 to 1800

• Location: Langley, Slough
• Duration: Ongoing

Role of a Warehouse Supervisor:

• Planning, coordinating, ordering assembly and dispatching of goods
• Having a good understanding of the company's policies
• Coordinating the use of computerised systems where necessary
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
• Planning future requirements
• Managing the recruitment and training of warehouse staff
• Monitoring staff performance and progress
• Supervising, motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
• Producing regular reports and statistics on a weekly/monthly basis
