Academics are hiring a cover supervisor to fulfil a full-term post in Cardiff. The post will commence from the 9th January and will run until the end of the academic year. There are opportunities for 2023/24 contract extensions if applicants look to gain more experience. Candidates must be confident in micro-managing individuals, in addition to having strong experiences with young people (e.g., teaching assistant, coaching, extra-curricular clubs). The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and promoting learning, while being competent in controlling pupils to stay on task. This post is ideal for potential PGCE individuals who are looking for hands on teaching experience while getting paid. Candidates will gain vital and various experiences by covering KS3, KS4 and KS5 lessons. You will be responsible for producing a safe setting where students excel and complete pre-set work by subject teachers.
The successful candidate will be working within a high achieving and well-regarded secondary school.
