Audio Visual Engineer

The Opportunity This is a great opportunity to work for a successful Audio Visual Integrator based in West Yorkshire. Your role would be providing Audio Visual installation services within the Corporate, Health and Education Sectors. Working alongside other engineers, the role will involve carrying out a range of different installations using a variety of AV technologies including Video Walls, Microsoft Teams Solutions, Control Systems, Digital Signage, Audio Systems etc. Key Responsibilities:- Installing, integrating, and configuring AV technologies to meet project needs Onsite Management of Installations Projects to completion on time and to required quality levels Cable running and management within trays, trunking, and baskets Cable Termination Testing Site Surveys - Assessment and management to ensure the safety and effectiveness of AV equipment AV Commissioning AV Fault Finding Rack Building Perform maintenance visits and on-going support Carry out duties in line with the company's quality standards Responsible for onsite health and safety Based along the M62 corridor salary will be circa £28k-£30k neg. doe plus company van, overtime and benefits. Your Skills and experience Good Communication Skills at all levels Understanding of technical designs Schematics Great Attention to detail Desire to learn develop Audio Visual Skills Knowledge Well Organised Good Time Keeping Clean Working Soldering, crimping and terminating skills Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of control systems, such as Crestron Extron Experience with a variety of AV equipment Understanding both digital/analogue audio and video signals e.g. HDMI, Display Port, DVI Component, and Composite Understanding of digital signals, EDID switching Knowledge of Digital Sound Processors (DSP) Come from an experienced AV integration background with a proven track record of success Be in possession of a driving licence A flexible approach to working hours (as some weekend work may be necessary) IPAF, ECS and PASMA advantageous The Organisation Our client is a successful Audio Visual Integration company working in Corporate and Education and with a growing Hire and Events side of their business.
