Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced manager who has significant front-line management experience.
• The GM will be part of the RAS service and will line manage 7 Referral and Assessment Team Managers.
• The GM will have the primary responsibility of ensuring that the Referral and Assessment teams fulfil their obligations under S17 and S47 of the Children's Act and in line with Working Together to Safeguard Children.
• The GM will need to have energy, enthusiasm and motivation to deliver outstanding services for children and families and support continuous improvement.
• The GM will need to provide strong leadership, support and challenge to a settled management team.
• The GM will be responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the Referral and Assessment and will be expected to exemplify the values and principles set out in the Bromley Relationship Model and in the Bromley Value and Behaviour Framework.
• The GM will also need to work collaboratively with partner agencies and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children. The GM will need to adhere to the practice standards set out in Bromley and will need to provide regular, high quality, reflective supervision to team managers.
• The GM will need to engage in regular quality assurance activity to ensure that the standard of practice across the service remains consistently good and takes proactive corrective action where practices falls short.
