We are seeking to employ a Senior / Principal Flood Risk Consultant within our Infrastructure and Environment team in our London, Farnborough or Manchester offices - or home working in the Bristol area
The role
The role is to develop the existing flood risk and sustainable drainage (SuDS) skills within the Sustainability team at an international multi-disciplinary developing both internal and external customer relationships.
A successful candidate will have Experience in detailed flood risk modelling, SuDS Strategy design, the production of water resources sections of Environmental Statements and knowledge of GIS would be advantageous. Duties specific to this role include undertaking:
- Development & design of drainage solutions (e.g. networks & SuDS),
- Hydrological assessments,
- Client and regulatory body liaison,
- Project management.
Key Skills
The company is looking for technically competent i.e recognized as specialist in field, but with aspirations to perform a wider role including project management. The candidate requires the ability to work independently with first class communication and presentation skills.
