Job title: Laser Operator NightsLocation: WorcesterPay: - £12.90 (£10.00 per hour + £32.79 per day shift allowance)Hours: Nights Continental shiftContract: Temp - Perm / PermA Manufacturing company based in Worcester (Blackpole) are looking for Laser Operator to join their team on a temp - perm basis working on nights continental shift:Week 1 - Monday and Tuesday (working) Wednesday and Thursday off. Friday Saturday Sunday (working)Week 2 - Monday and Tuesday off. Wednesday, Thursday (Working) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for:Run the laser cutter machine - shape/cut multiple types of metal, including Stainless steel, Mild steel and AluminiumLoading correct material onto laser - Preparing raw materials for production; assembling final products for shippingUse of appropriate tools to keep machines in operationChart machine performance and administer routine checks/maintenanceAs a Laser Operator, you will be required to:A background as a laser cutter / laser operator and experience within the steel processing industry is required for you to be considered.Experience in reading and understanding blueprints and mechanical drawingsPrecious experience in an Assembly or Manufacturing environment would be beneficial.A committed and enthusiastic approach to work will be essential.Flexible with shifts and willing to work overtime as and when needed by the business.The role of Laser Operator will be working on a 'Temp - Perm' basis being paid £10 per hour plus £32.79 shift allowance per day, with the potential of a permanent contract being offered to outstanding candidates.If you would like to apply for this role then please click 'Apply' now.
