Quotation Engineer Fakenham Competitive Salary Quotation Engineer My client are a specialised lifting equipment company, based in a modern facility in Norfolk operating within the international marketplace. Due to our continued growth, we now require a Quotation Engineer. The Role An experienced engineer required to produce sales quotations for custom products and variants to existing products for a small, friendly company dealing in an international marketplace. Key Skills The ability to produce outline sales quotations based on customer specific requirements and variants of existing product ranges. The ability to quickly and effectively visualise customised variants based on a standard product range The ability to produce 3D conceptual models and sketches when required to accompany sales quotations. The ability to prioritise workload and deal efficiently with multiple projects. Skills/experience A sound background in mechanical engineering, with good knowledge of mechanisms, fabricated assemblies and sheet metalwork. Working knowledge of Solidworks 3D CAD or similar, Working knowledge of Machinery Standards and relevant legislation Able to work as part of a small team Excellent communication skills Specific Duties Creation of outline sales quotations based on customer specific requirements and variants of existing product ranges. Creation of 3D models / drawings to illustrate concepts and accompany quotations, as required.
