About the role

This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of a new breed of sports software predominantly used at football and rugby clubs. Swan Retail's recently launched ClearCourse Sports brand was born to shake-up a stagnating market by delivering game-changing commerce and management technology to help clubs streamline retail operations, increase revenue and better engage with their fan-base.

You will extend the functionality of the solution through enhancements, new features and new 3rd party integrations to further penetrate the industry of sport, and other merchandising sectors.

You will be a team player who is able to work effectively with others but is also able to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

The role is hybrid and ideally, we are looking for candidates who can attend our office in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

Designing and implementing applications
Delivering high quality and efficient code
Maintaining existing programs and developing new programs
Contributing to the specification and creation of new developments
Aligning application design with business goals
Problem solving - debugging and resolving issues
Producing detailed design documentation
Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure
Ensuring continuous professional self-development
