Digital Content Officer to join a Charity based in London, this role is a hybrid positon 3 and 2. They are paying between £17-20 per hour. 3 month contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
URC website
1. Transform, develop and maintain the organisations website, (currently using the Joomla CMS)
2. Help with the commissioning, writing, editing and publishing of content on the organisations website, corporate social media channels, blogs and other websites.
3. Promote the organisations discipleship and mission objectives digitally.
Social media
1. Shoot and edit photos and videos and share them where appropriate.
2. Record, edit and broadcast podcasts.
3. Source other shareable content from the vast array of publications, channels, websites and services that the Church offers, produces and sells.
Websites
1. Help with the organisations website, Synod websites, the bookshop website and other websites produced by the organisation. This will include merging some of them into the corporate website.
2. Support the training of the organisations at all levels about the use of digital.
3. Develop online worship tools.
Insights reporting and data sharing
1. Use insight tools to help analyse user behaviour and digital needs, and the shaping and prioritising of digital content and engagement.
2. Determine new ways of growing the digital audience.
