Job Description
I am working with a Local Authority who are looking for a Graduate Estates Surveyor to join their team.
Duties in the role:
You'll be shadowing and providing support to the Property and Estates Manager, ensuring the council's profits are being maximised by the property portfolio.
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be required to complete:
- Basic asset valuations
- Rent reviews
- Lease renewals
- Service charges
In the office once a fortnight, with site inspections more regularly.
For this role:
You should have a degree in Real Estates, Estates Management or Surveying.
You should be working towards or intending to achieve your RICS qualifications.
You should have a comprehensive understanding of the property market, and of landlord and tenant legislation.
If you have experience working in Property Services (work experience or summer internships) this would be beneficial.
