Concept has a great opportunity to work for a long-standing organisation who are specialists in creating tailor-made technology based integrated systems to meet the most complex and demanding electronic security needs. They are looking for a new team member to join their family down in the Greater London area to cover the South East region. As an Electronic Security Service Engineer you will be working within an array of sectors from Hospitality, Retailers, Public Houses, Education and much more. Meaning that every day will be completely different. When onsite your duties will be to fault find, repair or replace and occasionally go through a full commissioning process to ensure the Security systems are in a full working order. You will be very much customer facing and working directly with what the customer requires, so, communication skills and prioritising the customer is essential. System Knowledge You will be working on different systems with the organisation from fire detection and alarm systems to CCTV and Intruder Alarms. Ideally, if you have worked with some of the following brands it will allow you to get to grips a lot quicker: CTEC Notifier Advanced Fike Twinflex Ziton Lenel Personnel As mentioned, the company treat their workforce as a very close nit family, so, it's essential for someone who wishes to join this company to have the same work hard, play hard mentality in every project they work with. It is essential that you have the ability to work independently and manage your own diary as many of the contracts you will be working on will be solo. However, some flexibility will be required to meet certain SLA's with some long standing clients. There will be a demand for on call, which, at the moment is 1 week in every 6 and when on call there will be the occasional travel requirements a little further a field than what your standard day to day geographic location may be. As this role requires an in-depth knowledge of servicing Electronic Security systems we ideally are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar environment. Must have Right to work in the UK. Must have good timekeeping and organisational skills. Good customer service as the role is very must customer facing. Ability to work independently. Have a good all-round understanding of both the Fire & Security disciplines (Fire definitely). Must have a Driving Licence with no more than 3 points. We welcome anyone trained from an apprentice background within the Fire and / or Security sector. Due to the nature of this role all candidates progressing through the application will require a screening check in accordance with BS(Apply online only). This covers an ID check, 5 Year Career History (including gap periods), Basic DBS Check and financial checks.
