As Product Manager you will help to shape the end-to-end Commercial Lending proposition we offer to Metro Bank customers; building and supporting a range of high quality solutions that helps Metro Bank to stand out from the pack. The Product Manager is responsible for developing an end to end proposition across our Commercial Lending businesses.
Depending on the team, most of our roles offer flexible working.
So what would you be doing?
•Identify where we can build and improve our commercial lending propositions, and the key processes that make the proposition what it is in market
•Collaborate across a number of business functions to deliver clear process and feature improvements - both in the short term (through small scale tweaks); through to setting out the long term framework (processes, people and technology) for the way in which we originate and service business lending solutions
•Support the build out of new products and solution aimed at the Commercial customer base
•Build a deep understanding of who our customers are and what they want
•Monitor and support efforts to maintain and grow underlying yield on each of the portfolio's treating both areas as separate functions

•Have a deep understanding of customer needs, attitudes and behaviour, to build highly customer-focused propositions that support the Metro Brand
•Understanding of and experience working within Secured Commercial or Business lending
•Experience in working through a series of topics or problems, synthesizing multiple data points to form and gain buy-in to recommendations
•An ability to work through a series of initiatives and ensure that time is well balanced between short term deliverables and a focus on longer term strategic outcomes
•Understanding of the end-to-end processes that make up the business lending lifecycle of each area
•Be used to deeply understanding the way products and processes work so that you can identify and resolve errors in the way our products are working
•Strong interpersonal, relationship building and both written and verbal communication skills
•Ideally experience in process re-engineering and / or business transformation
