Yard Operative

Responsive Personnel are recruiting for experienced Yard Operatives to work for our latest Fairford based client.

Our client have have built a countrywide network of stores, providing building materials, timber, and kitchens; with a dedicated manufacturing division providing timber engineering services.

We are looking for candidates who would thrive in a physical role, with a desire to learn. Training will be provided on various machines and techniques.

Details:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:30
• £9.88 p/h (with an additional 50p p/h attendance bonus)
• 12-week temp to perm

Role:

• Loading and Unloading Delivery Vehicles of timber
• Relocating Stock to Storage Areas
• Preparing timber frames using a pressing machine
• Using hand tools to assemble frames
• Maintaining Health and Safety Standards and Procedures and Good Housekeeping
• Any ad-hoc tasking as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Warehouse Experience
• Experience of working within a Timber/Builders Merchant is desirable but not essential
• Ability to undertake labour intensive workload
• Sideloader Licence is desirable but not essential.
