Early Years Apprentice (13692)

We have two Nurseries in East London, both nurseries take children from 3 months to 5 years, both Nurseries are Ofsted rated "Good".

We looking to take on Early years Apprentice who will work towards obtaining a Level 3 Childcare qualification.

We are looking for an enthusiastic early years practitioner who enjoys working with young children & families, someone who would be able to work well in a team in our busy nursery environment.

Both nurseries work together and there are times when our Team members and Managers swap over to either nursery to offer support.

Number of Early Years Worker posts- 2

1- post Bow Nursery, E3 3DS

1- post Wetherell Nursery, E9 7BW

Successful candidate will be working 36.25 hours a week Monday to Friday on a rotating shift, with a 45min Lunch break, they will have an allocated Study day/time during the week.

The work will include:

  • Support the team member with Planning and implementing creative and learning activities in line with EYFS/Ofsted.
  • Creative person who is able to plan and implement fun and educational activities that will challenge children's learning and development
  • Working as part of a busy team, being able to support colleagues
  • Being able to multitask and manage difficult challenges
  • Ensuring safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Obtaining Safeguarding knowledge and following policies and procedures
  • Following Health and Safety policies and procedures of the setting.
  • Carrying out observations of children and planning next steps
  • Writing reports.
  • Interacting parents and updating them on child's progress.
  • Supervising play.

Successful applicant will be offered a position at either Bow or Wetherell Nursery.

Please note that this Early Years qualification is 18months, provided the candidate has successfully completed the course they would be able to apply for a permanent post provided we have live vacancies at the time.

An enhanced DBS will be required for these roles.
