I am currently recruiting for a Finance Manager who will help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of my clients' finance function which in turn helps improve the collection rates for the Group. This is a 15 Month FTC role - with remote working available / flexibility required around month end / Salary: £44,332 / New Year Start.
This role comes with one direct report and is a key role joining a busy finance, vibrant finance team.
This is an important role in which you will:
- Be responsible for the annual review process
- Project manage system and process improvements relating to rent
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a track record in delivering operational improvements
- Have strong analytical skills.
- Responsible for the annual review providing accurate and timely information to customers and leaseholders for their charges, calculated in line with their tenancy agreements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory rent standard and rent policy statement
- Ensure financial information is correctly accounted for in the general ledger in line with reporting timetables. Provide rental income projections for inclusion in the annual budget
- To ensure an efficient and effective rent control processes are in place
- To ensure rent payments are posted accurately and in a timely manner
- To ensure that rent notification letters are delivered to tenants within required timescales
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation, government policies and requirements from regulatory bodies
