Job Description

A great opportunity for an individual with non-life accounting experience to break into the Lloyd's market or to develop existing skills and take their career to the next level. The company is one of the most successful and highly regarded in the City and have a great track record of developing its staff over the longer term. There will be very broad involvement with duties including and not limited to:

  • Management of the financial close process for the underwriting ledger
  • The production of the quarterly management accounts, balance sheet and income statements
  • Analysis of data and the production of reports to be used for both reporting and commercial analysis
  • Providing support to syndicate accountants and the regulatory reporting team
  • Involvement in a number of key finance department projects
  • Process and system development and enhancement in line with company growth

The role is highly suited to an individual that has worked in either industry or practice
