Senior Finance Business Partner

Altum Consulting are pleased to be partnering with a FTSE listed Technology, innovative SaaS business. They are seeking to hire a Senior Finance Business partner. This organisation operates a global scale and will seek to support across the group structure.

The group is Private Equity backed and is working towards a large acquisition which has brought on the need for this hire.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the cash forecast model and update regularly involving input from all business areas
• Work closely with the Finance Director to provide detailed analytical reviews, trend, and sensitivity analysis to support strategic initiatives and to feed the business plan
• Business Partner with the Commercial and Deployment teams to build and maintain an accurate Demand forecast, Planning & Budgeting
• Business partner with Marketing Director to build and implement Online marketing budget
• Own the Opex part of the budget and forecasting model
• Produce financial schedules for the monthly Board pack, using KPIs to monitor business performance against the business plan
• Create the weekly trade pack to be presented to the business
• Provide analysis and commentary on variances to the business plan in a timely and consistent manner
• Prepare reports and analysis for both current and potential investors
• Support stakeholders and with ad-hoc reporting

Key Requirements

• Qualified accountant (i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 3+ years of experience working in SAAS, Telecommunications and Fintech
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced start up business
• Highly analytical and comfortable with multiple scenario planning
• Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to evaluate business results and advise management of ways to improve business performance
