Business Implementation Officer (Net-zero/ Carbon Emissions)Three year fixed term contractSalary: c £40,000 plus benefitsHybrid workingLocation : Central LondonWanted a highly motivated and talented individual with a real passion within CSR / net-zero planning and carbon emissions to work for a national charity to support the implementation of the organisationsNet-zero and carbon emissions strategy. This is a very exciting opportunity to lead and guide and influence stakeholders and project members to reduce and improve carbon emissions across their assets and functions portfolio.Duties:
- Project management skills, serving as point of contact for clients, planning budgets, programme, resourcing, tracking deliverables to meet deadlinesWork closely with senior managers and stakeholders in driving this project forward.
- Work with Senior Managers in the team through Project Board to manage the project
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary client teams and provide leadership to implement adoption and change
- Collate, research and report on information pertaining to strategy and implementation.
- Provide comprehensive support and reporting on the carbon footprint of the organisation
- Provide guidance, direction and influence to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders on sustainability related matters, focused but not limited to net-zero carbon and carbon emissions .
- Coordinate guides, training and implementation frameworks across the organisation
- Other ad hoc administrative duties as required
Experience
- Passion and a determination to deliver on net-zero and carbon emission.
- Project management skills, experience using structured project management systems
- The ideal candidate will have a Project Management background with previous experience of working on a similar projects
- Knowledge and experience working within environmental and climate projects
