Job Title: Customer Services Administrator

Location: Ipswich with home working a few days a week after successful completion of training

Hours: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

About the role of Customer Services Administrator

Working in a busy team your role will focus on providing a high level of customer services and the associated administration to existing mortgage and loan customers. Full training will be provided. This is a super position for someone keen to develop their career in the financial services and specialist lending sectors. You will deal with a variety of queries from borrowers, third parties and clients and will be required to deliver a professional service to all parties.

Responsibilities for the role of Customer Services Administrator

  • Receive and resolve queries from existing mortgage customers/borrowers and their advisers
  • Report problem issues accurately and proactively in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure that changed made to a borrowers account are dealt in accordance to process and procedures
  • Explain the terms and conditions of a borrower's loan to the borrower has a good understanding of the terms and conditions of the loan
  • Accurately record actions and conversation on the internal database
  • Liaise with third parties

Experience required for the role of Customer Services Administrator

  • Great customer service skills and experience of telephone-based customer services.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to meet deadlines and organise workload
  • Strong team player work ethic
  • Knowledge of mortgage documentation or an understanding of the mortgage market is highly desirable but not essential
