The role handles applications from mortgage offer to completion, including liaising with solicitors, underwriters and the finance team to ensure accurate titles and timely draw-downs. We're looking for someone with a few years' experience within mortgage completions, ideally from a specialist lending environment, who understands the importance of getting cases over the line accurately, efficiently and in line with the lender's risk appetite. Responsibilities required for the role of Completions Officer: Processing applications from receipt of a mortgage offer, through the legal process to release of funds and completion. Dealing with both BTL and Bridging loan transactions from loan offer through to completion and working alongside a legal panel of lawyers to sign off legal inquiries, ensuring accurate legal titles. Work with the finance team in processing release of funds for pending completions Liaise with Underwriters and New Business Team on any completion queries (i.e. COT received, completion call transfers, updates to all parties) Communicate with intermediaries, valuers and solicitor enquiries by email or telephone, liaising with the underwriters as appropriate. Reviewing legal correspondence from solicitors, providing responses, and referring queries to the underwriters and 3rd parties where appropriate Pursue outstanding documents ensuring offer conditions are satisfied before authorising release of funds. Initiate pipeline management - advising conveyancers/underwriters when an application nears the end of its offer eligibility or valuation period or when a valuation nears expiry. Meeting service level agreements and maintaining excellent customer service. Authenticate the Certificate of Title to ensure details provided from the panel of solicitors are accurate and adequate to proceed to completion. Processing of Certificates of Titles (COTs) to ensure compliance with all loan offer conditions prior to sign off by a senior team member. Manage a pipeline of business closely to assist Structured Finance with forecasting the likelihood of completions and timings for draw-down of funds for completion along with completing Sales notices to draw down funds on your pipeline. Additional management of the loan funding and completion fees working closely with our Finance Team Experience required for the role of Completions Officer: Completions experience within a dedicated Completions function Solid knowledge of end-to-end mortgage process, particularly the legal process from offer to completion and release of funds Experience of credit reference agencies, Land Registry, and fraud avoidance tools Proficiency in dealing with solicitors and mortgage brokers Experience of performing AML, KYC, and associated ID checks Good communication, analytical and numeracy skills Ideally experience of processing both BTL and Bridging proposals Track record managing a caseload of proposals for a mortgage lender Experience handling transactions involving Ltd company, foreign nationals, and offshore companies would be desirable

About the role of Full Stack Developer: We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join a small, in-house technology team based in Borehamwood. The role involves building and maintaining core lending platforms and reporting systems across borrower, broker and investor journeys, loan administration, broker onboarding, and internal dashboards used by sales and underwriting teams. You will own features end to end, working across the Laravel backend and Vue frontend, on live systems handling personal and financial data. Responsibilities for the role of Full Stack Developer: Deliver new features, enhancements and fixes across key platform workflows, including lending and ledger processes, borrower and investor dashboards, document generation, and broker and introducer journeys. Build and enhance reporting dashboards within our Vite/Vue reporting application, taking features from data querying and processing through to intuitive charts and tables. Develop background processing and queue-based jobs, automated reporting, and PDF and Excel document generation. Develop and maintain third-party integrations, including KYC/AML providers, open banking services such as Plaid, Companies House, and Microsoft Teams notifications. Gradually increase automated test coverage to improve reliability, maintainability and confidence in releases. Continuously improve and optimise the frontend build and development experience as the platform evolves. Experience required for the role of Full Stack Developer: Commercial experience with PHP and Laravel (8+), including Eloquent, migrations, queues and events. Experience building applications with Vue 3, including components and state management. Good working knowledge of MySQL, including queries, indexes and basic performance considerations. Experience working with REST APIs and webhooks. Comfortable using Git, working with branches and participating in code reviews. A careful approach to production systems and customer data, with a habit of checking and testing your work before release. Desirable: Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as shadcn/Reka UI. ECharts, Chart.js or D3. Vite, Webpack/Laravel Mix, Redis, AWS or Azure SQL. PHPUnit or Pest and an interest in writing automated tests.
