SEN Teaching Assistants needed for now and January Have you previously worked in schools? Or is an area you would like to work in Or have any previous experience working with children/adults with additional needs? If yes, then we would love to hear from you! A special school in Nottingham are looking for an engaging teaching assistant. The school specializes educating children and young adults who have been diagnosed with Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). The school are looking for passionate teaching assistants who are welcoming and can build strong relationships from the get-go. You will be working in small classes sizes and may require supporting a child on a 1:1 basis. You will be helping to deliver learning in a fun and engaging environment. Whilst being proactive you must also have patience and resilience to be able to handle difficult situations. You must also be equipped with the behaviour management techniques to be able to deliver a holistic support package. Person Specification Available full-time (Monday Friday) Immediate start 8:30am 3:30pm Previous experience working with children/ young adults (preferable) A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willing apply for one If you are intersted in the role please apply today!
