Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Do you want to be part of a rapidly expanding, highly innovative technology company? We are partnering with a company based in Royston to recruit a manufacturing technician to maintain, develop and troubleshoot the automated production line equipment.

This key role aims to enable further innovative manufacturing solutions across the company's various industry sectors and will have a significant impact on the core function of the business using a technical and hands on approach.

On the whole you will contribute to performance, reliability and maintenance of the production line, conducting preventative maintenance, carrying out equipment calibration, maintaining critical stock levels and in time contributing to the build and commissioning of new machinery.

We are looking for a Level 3 NVQ or higher in an engineering discipline coupled with a proven track record in building and maintaining PLC controlled machinery. In addition you will be competent in the use of hand tools, machine elements and basic metal work.
