Part Time Teaching Assistant Barnsley Vision for Education are recruiting for a Part Time Teaching Assistant for a client of ours in the Barnsley area. They need someone who is comfortable from EYFS up to Y6. The Role To start in January 2023 up to June 2023 for 3 full days a week. You will be able to choose which 3 days you want to work as long as it s the same 3 days each week. The schools starts at 08:30 and finishes at 15:15 each day. You will be required to work with Y2 and Y6 pupils for additional support before their SATS exams as well as going into other year groups and helping as and when needed. The School Located on the border of Barnsley and Rotherham, this lovely Primary School is easily accessible for public transport users. For those travelling by car, there is a medium sized car park on the school grounds with plenty of parking on the street outside. The school is part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust that values it s pupils and wants to provide the best possible education experience. Requirements Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are outlined below. You must have: A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) Experience working as a Teaching Assistant Experience working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment A genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff Experience delivering primary lessons (preferable but not essential) Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
