Lecturers in Engineering (Electronic & Electrical / Mechanical) Hours:37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year Ref: ENGFE Salary:SCP : £24,060 - £36,299 per annum (pay award pending) plus Market Premium of £5,000 per annum which will be reviewed annually The College From professional training and Further Education to under and post graduate studies, we re proud to offer the full range of qualifications that students need to fulfill long and valuable careers. The role We are looking for an inspirational Electrical & Electronic / Mechanical Engineering lecturers to join our growing engineering department within the School of Science, Engineering & Business. We will help you make a difference to the lives of young people, raising the aspirations of the next generation of engineering talent. You will be supported by a strong management team to raise achievement rates, design and deliver an innovative curriculum, and provide excellent pastoral support. You will contribute to a high standard of quality provision and be part of a full college team that is striving to reach Ofsted Outstanding at our next inspection. What we are looking for You should possess a level 4 qualification or above in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering and have or be working towards a recognised teaching qualification. A strong awareness of contemporary developments within the sector is essential, as is previous experience of working with young people aged 14-19 years old. As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. A £5,000 per annum Market Premium payment is also attached to this role and will be payable to successful candidates who have a: Teaching Qualification Degree in Engineering Masters Degree in a relevant subject area Qualifications and experience will be considered against and must be relevant to the current curriculum.
