Teaching Assistant – Primary

Teaching Assistant Primary Coventry Full Time Temp to Perm Must have experience working in a school or education setting I am currently working on 2 vacancies at a Large Primary School in Coventry. In their last inspection, the school was graded as Good with Outstanding Features by Ofsted. The school has 2 open vacancies for experienced Teaching Assistants as well as Graduates who are looking to pursue a career within the education sector or are looking for experience before applying for their PGCE. Role 1: Year 2 Teaching Assistant Role 2: Year 6 Teaching Assistant The ideal candidate will have experience supporting across KS1/KS2 and should be Read Write Inc trained. Your main responsibilities will include working 1:1 and taking out small groups to provide Literacy/ Numeracy SATs boosters and Phonics interventions in preparation for Year 2 and Year 6 SATs. You will be required to work closely to the class teacher by supporting marking and planning. You will also be required to perform general TA duties e.g. ensuring that the class is tidy and safe at all times as well as assisting the children at lunch time.
