Year 5 Primary Teacher needed in South Gloucestershire Primary School Your new company A school in the Thornbury area of South Gloucestershire are currently looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join their team. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing a curriculum that prepares children for their next stage. This school is a 2 form entry school, which has a high focus on inclusion and equality ensuring a high quality of teaching for the best outcome from their pupils. Your new role Starting in January, you will be working as a part-time Year 5 Class Teacher for 5 days per week, working alongside a KS2 specialist teaching assistant in a class of approximately 28 pupils. This is a full time role, with the requirement for both planning and attendance to staff meetings. In this, you will get half a day per week for planning (PPA). What you'll need to succeed Have teaching experience within the last 5 years Experience Teaching KS2 desirable Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status Good Knowledge of the English National Curriculum What you'll get in return Experience working with a Year 5 class You will be paid a competitive daily wage.
