What the day will look like;
Strategy and execution
  • Supporting Growth Marketing Leader in the campaign ideation and alignment process, partnering with the UK business leaders and sales leaders
  • Partnering with Campaigns CoE on designing demand programmes that generate marketing qualified leads for the business
  • Focusing on delivering the day-to-day requirements and execution of our Risk Buyer demand programs with Growth Marketing Leader and CoE leaders
  • Working in partnership with the CoE, to provide hands on marketing support to activate the UK marketing programme across all channels including events, local sponsorships, internal & external communications and digital
  • Working in partnership with the Global Content CoE, Campaigns CoE, agency partners and subject matter experts to create demand focused UK tailored content and touchpoints, targeted at priority segments
  • Working with the business on strategic commercial partnerships with external 3rd parties in the UK that will support local marketing growth programs
  • Act as an Aon brand ambassador who is closely aligned with the "Aon Story," encompassing brand strategy, messaging and storytelling
Customer management
  • Act as marketing business partners to solution lines, industry verticals and other relevant UK segments to understand business needs and priorities
  • Ongoing liaison point between CoEs and the business
  • Liaison with Campaign CoE regarding analysis and overall metrics and reporting on programmes
  • Point of contact to channel business requests to either action in growth marketing or to pass to COEs/other teams
Owning demand Partnering with Growth Operations and the business to ensure that leads are being correctly assigned to the right areas and followed up by the business
How this opportunity is different As part of the UK Marketing and Communications Team, the Growth Marketing Specialist for the Risk Buyer will provide hands on marketing activation to generate demand for Aon solutions targeted at the Risk Buyer in the UK. This role will plan and deliver aligned activities based on specific growth priorities in the UK. This role reports into the Growth Marketing Leader for the Risk Buyer, UK and partners with the related solution line and commercial leaders to help implement a strategic marketing and communications plan that drives growth for Aon in the UK
Skills and experience that will lead to success;
  • 5 years + of professional B2B marketing experience
  • Demonstrated skills in messaging and positioning offerings
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to implement programs with speed, accuracy and efficiency
  • Understanding of business analytics, measurement and dashboards
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and ability to impact outcomes in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members and executive leaders
  • Great teammate and positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to and thrive in a changing environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
