Our company is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Yardman / Forklift Driver.
Job Description
The prime function of this position is to take stock of raw material each morning, replenish satellite store from main store. Weigh medication ready for production requirements, unloading of delivery vehicles or containers, move produced stock and/or other materials to and from storage. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimising loading for efficient logistics and supporting other functions to ensure optimal operation of the business. Flexibility with scheduled workdays and shift preference is required.
Responsibilities:
Daily stocktake of raw material / Weighing medication as and when required / Unload delivery vehicles; Load / Unload curtain sided vehicles of materials/product and stack them to assigned places
Maintain equipment & storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Carry out general yard duties and housekeeping both yard, warehouse and satellite store
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
Work at the Kenninghall or Hoxne site, depending on volume of site requirement.
Working hours between 6.30 - 17.00, Monday to Friday, basic 42.5 hours per week
Overtime hours available, paid at an enhanced rate
