Service Technician

We are looking for an industrious Individual to join our client as a Service technician. The role comes with an attractive slary of circa £36,(Apply online only) (depending on experience), Van and Fuel card. The roel is 37.5 hours per wekk, 8:30am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30 am start on a Friday with an early finish. You will be responsible for the on-site servicing, maintenance and repairs of Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control Systems. You will also carry out installation of replacement equipment on the takeover of some Fire and Intruder Systems. The works will primarily be in the North of Scotland, but travel to other parts of the country may be required, dependant on Customer requirements. The duties will include the following: Servicing of Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control Installations. Completion of all necessary certification and documentation relating to the service works. Fault finding and rectification of any issues identified during service or maintenance visits where instructed. Installation of new equipment on takeover of maintenance contracts. Final Commissioning of Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control Systems after installation by others. Coaching and development of all personnel under your supervision. Making best use of plant and equipment to ensure most efficient use of resources. Purchasing or requisitioning of materials in a timely and efficient manner which may include the preparation of procurement buying lists.
