We have a wonderful opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our well-respected team at Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre in Wishaw. We provide specialist rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from an acquired brain injury and we also provide residential care for individuals with progressive neurological conditions.
You will part of a well-established, friendly and enthusiastic Multidisciplinary Team where you will plan and deliver specialist assessment and evidence based treatment of acquired brain injury, as well as supervise and develop support staff. This is a role where you can build great relationships with the patients and really be a part of their progress.

What you'll be working:
We're flexible, so you'll work a total of 37.5 hours per week - 6 months fixed term Maternity Cover
What you'll be doing:
Participate in the provision of high quality therapeutic activities, using a wide range of approaches to suit the patient's varying needs
Experience of working specifically with patients that have neurological needs
Delivering and monitoring innovative rehabilitation and care in order to promote independence
Liaising with other professionals, families, carers and employers
Managing a caseload, prioritising needs, and completing administrative tasks
What you'll have:
A minimum BSc or recognised postgraduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
Hold current HCPC registration
Be flexible and adaptable, well organised and able to manage time and workload effectively in line with the needs of the service
Knowledge and skills in assessment procedures
