Role Description:

• Daily pulse on the performance of the processes (QC) with anomaly reporting to management and/or escalation for support

• Playbook review and updates (operational documentation)

• Ongoing, accurate evidence of adherence to documented policy (audit)

• Commitment to metric improvement and knowledge of driving criteria behind trends. Ensure all metrics align to performance or risk (operational performance)

• Respond to all management concerns (daily task)

• Partner with technical teams and business teams to drive change and explain impact

• Integrate detection rule changes driven by the business, the technology, management, or data analysis

The Team:

The Global Information Security - Cyber Defense team is a global operations shop with leading edge tools, processes, and people. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the people, process, and technology, are operating effectively within the scope of Outbound Email Communication. The role requires someone who will be proactive in furthering the maturity of the operation processes and defining the scope of content detection. The candidate should possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to find and mitigate risks. Candidate will gain experience of operating in a technically complex, fast changing, and dynamic environment. Candidate must be willing to enroll in Associate Investment Monitoring due to the nature of the role and access.

This role will require occasional work outside of first shift in order to support technical upgrades and incidents impacting the Outbound Email Communication. The individual will be on call and require global interaction with the entire Follow the Sun team.

Core Skills:

• Comfortable presenting detailed, data driven conclusions to peers, im mediate management and senior level

• Able to work independently to drive change and mitigate risk

• At ease engaging technical experts and being able to relay technical information

• Demonstrated commitment to clear and documented procedures around change

• Hands on involvement with creation of DLP detection rules and deep dive into results of that detection, complete with recommendation for changes based on the results

• Ability to 'keep the lights on' in an operational role at the same time envisioning a plan for the future, eliminating the risk for remaining stagnant in security.

• Familiarity and support of governed Rules and Regulations, including Regional restrictions

• experience in information security, with a focus on DLP detection tools

• Knowledge of information security technologies, techniques and processes

• Understanding of Industry leading Data Loss Prevention technologies

• Python or other development language experience

• SMTP routing understanding

• Regex writing

Preferred

• Certifications - Security+, Network+, CEH, CISSP, CySa, CCNA, CCNP

• Bachelors or higher in Cyber Security field
