Based in London, you will be an integral part of the Global Contract Management team, working closely with a variety of colleagues across the business, product, operations, implementation, legal, privacy, compliance and other supporting teams. The role covers primarily the EMEA region with opportunities for cross-regional exposure and collaboration. You will be responsible for negotiating, preparing, reviewing various agreements, including clients' own templates, and supporting documentation for account opening, amongst a myriad of other treasury management agreements, such as cash concentration and notional pooling arrangements, foreign exchange, SWIFT connectivity, electronic banking services, payments and receivable, virtual accounts, etc. For this role you will have to apply experience, industry standards and knowledge of account documentation, banking/finance products and Bank of America policies to address related credit, risk, compliance, legal, operational and business issues. You will also facilitate communications among sales, implementation, product, operations, compliance, operational risk, credit risk, legal and client managers to promptly resolve documentation issues. Organizing and prioritizing a large number of competing, complex documentation assignments to meet customer needs within short timeframes will be key to your success.

Job Qualifications :
  • Prepares, reviews and negotiates agreements with a focus on account opening, cash management, liquidity, multibank and treasury products and services but also with the option to work on other contracts.
  • Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Non-Standard contractual issues.
  • Applies experience, industry standards and knowledge of cash management and the broader transaction banking industry , and Bank of America policies to address related credit, risk compliance, legal, operational and business issues.
  • Co-ordinates and facilitates communications between various stakeholders and clients to promptly resolve documentation issues.
  • Capable of organizing and prioritizing a large number of competing, complex documentation assignments to meet customer needs.
  • Has excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills and is comfortable representing the bank in communications with associates, clients and internal/external counsel at all levels of management.
  • Manage projects within & outside Contract Management team with an aim to streamline documentation and improve client experience.
  • Advises and educates internal associates about documentation standards and options, policies and procedures.


Required Skills:
  • 5 years'+ experience of drafting/negotiating various legal contracts & NDAs- conducts negotiations effectively, balancing competing objectives to achieve optimal results
  • Legal background/experience - qualified attorney or paralegal with experience of contracts drafting
  • Broad understanding of treasury products and strong knowledge of corporate documentation, legal terminology and various companies' legal structure.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to handle full workload with tight deadlines
