The organisation:
The Talent Set are working with a fantastic Childrens charity to find their new Internal Communications and Engagement Officer. They want you to be able to support the internal communications and engagement manager in delivering the employee and transformation strategy, including management of internal communication channels such as the intranet.
Key responsibilities:
Develop new and different ways to engage with employees which could include seeking and acting on their feedback to identify the most effective methods.
Monitoring employee engagement levels via our digital channels and reporting routinely on them
To work with the internal communication and engagement manager on annual communications in advance of the Employee Opinion Survey and develop an action plan for improvement year on year.
To help implement the internal communications strategy using coherent joined-up messages and developing a strong understanding of key organisational issues and links between departments.
To support the design and production of content for various events, including the annual general meeting and senior leaders conference.
To play a key role in the success of communication channels such as the intranet, including devising and drafting engaging content.
To provide effective communications of relevant corporate information to their staff, volunteers and stakeholders.
Monitor and assess all incoming communications requests, providing advice on appropriate approach, style, tone and cascade of communications.
Play a business partnering role with key directorates to ensure internal communications influences all staff engagement and communications activity at an early stage in its development and to support close and mutually supportive working relationships with colleagues
Person specification:
Internal or external communications gained in a high profile and diverse organisation
Using intranets or websites and content management software
Writing and editing professionally
Working with a wide range of professionals and in project teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Driven to deliver with a proactive can-do approach to workload and seeking out opportunities to communicate
Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
Strong news and feature writing skills
What's on offer:
This role is offering a salary of £115 - £130 per day PAYE for this initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend. This role is primarily remote.
