Motorclean Ltd are a well established and rapidly growing vehicle preparation business, providing a top class service to our customers across the UK.
We are recruiting an HR Apprentice to support the Head of HR in all aspects of HR, Employment and Compliance. An ideal role for someone looking to start their career in HR and work for a company that will give you the tools to learn and grow.
You will gain a Level 3 HR Support qualification through a recognised training provider, this will take approximately 15 months to complete. Throughout this qualification you will be assigned an Assessor who will regularly liaise with you to work towards your qualification.
Once your qualification has been completed you will be enrolled ontoto the CIPD Membership scheme.
Main Purpose of Role
* To maintain employment records in both hard and electronic copy
* To provide support to the Recruitment Team
* To help strengthen and promote the Company's Employer Brand
Responsibilities
* Make arrangements for meetings, training events and site visits on behalf of the Head of HR and the recruitment team
* Ensure that employment documentation is updated in line with current legislation and business need
* Assisting the recruitment team with applicant tracking
* Ensuring that the recruitment and onboarding procedures are followed in respect of all new hires and liaising with field management to ensure that this takes place in a timely manner and is properly documented and recorded
* Responsibility for ensuring that the Company's HRM system is updated with new hires and that the system is being correctly used
* Collate information to enable the team to track key metrics such as cost per hire and retention rates.
* Conducting research into benefits programmes and pay benchmarking etc
* Assisting with data collection and dissemination in the event of TUPE transfers in and out
Personal Criteria
* Previous experience of working in a HR department or an understanding of the role of a HR function preferable
* Professional outlook with a willingness to learn and develop in the role
* Good organisation skills - must be able to prioritise own work activity
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confidentiality, honesty and Integrity are a must
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm and will be based at our Basildon (Laindon) Head Office.
