What you'll be doing...

Riverford is best known for it's veg boxes but alongside this we also run a wholesale business which has a growing customer base and an annual turnover of over 1.7 million pounds. As well as fulfilling the local demand for fruit and veg, we also sell any oversupply from our growers on the open market.

As Team Leader you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations in the warehouse, reporting into the Dual Site Manager, and be willing to participate in picking orders when required to ensure timelines are met.

You will ensure the team are fully resourced to meet customer demand, liaise with the Sales and Procurement team at Ledbury and report all aspects of the business including recruitment, personnel, Health & Safety, stock control, QC and general operational issues on a daily and weekly basis.

You will need to be friendly, confident, and knowledgeable, holding regular team meetings and motivating and organising a team of 4 co-owners to ensure high customer servicing.

Requirements

Warehouse leadership or management experience with a strong people focus is essential.
Proven experience in an operations, factory or production environment is preferable.
A good standard of English literacy - written and verbal and numeracy skills are required.
Good time management and organisation skills.

What are the hours? Monday to Friday, start times normally 5:30am - 6am with flexibility to work longer hours when needed.

What are we paying? £11.98 per hour
