Meraki Talent Ltd are delighted to engaged on the role of Payroll Administrator for a prestigious institution based in Edinburgh. The role is paying up to £27,000 per annum plus an additional benefit including FLEXIBLE WORKING + an excellent pension contribution.

The Role


This organisation is looking to recruit an outgoing and motivated individual to work in the Finance Payroll Team. This is an opportunity to join a team in delivering a quality customer service on all payroll related matters and providing help and advice on personal pay enquiries.

You will have excellent customer service skills with at least 12 months experience working in a payroll service environment. Previous experience with Oracle Payroll is desirable.


On Offer


The role of Payroll Administrator is offering a salary of up to £27,000 per annum with an excellent benefits package including FLEXIBLE WORKING (3/2 blended working approach) and highly competitive pension (between 15-20% employer contribution). The office is based in Edinburgh and is easily accessible via public transport.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:


  • Processing of high-volume end-to-end payroll - weekly, biweekly, and monthly
  • Ensuring RTI and auto-enrolment regulations & requirements are adhered to
  • Assisting with opting employees into the company pension scheme
  • Dealing with questions, queries, and requests in relation to payroll
  • Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures & controls
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhoc duties where and when required


To be considered for this role you must:


  • Have strong experience of processing large payroll(s)
  • The ambitions to develop within a complex and rewarding environment
  • Have experience of using ERP/Payroll software
  • Have strong MS Excel skills
  • Have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
