Role:
* Assisting the Warehouse Manager in the successful and timely flow of work
* Deliver and pick up materials if needed, operate forklift trucks and work vehicles when necessary
* Unload shipping containers and put away stock in various warehouse locations
* Ensure customer orders are picked and packed in a timely order
* Carrying out stock takes as required
* Cover all responsibilities of the Warehouse manager when on holiday or off sick etc.
* Organising staff holiday requests and rotas, ensuring minimum staffing levels are maintained for each working day
* Opening and closing of the Warehouse and Office as required
* Any other tasks as required
Skills:
* Knowledge of fishing is desirable but not essential
* Physically able to lift heavy objects/boxes
* Excellent verbal and computer literate skills
Hours:
Working on a full-time basis. (8.30am - 5.00pm)
Salary: £25,000 PA
Experience:
* 1-2 years previous warehouse management experience is essential
* Valid drivers license
* A forklift License is desirable, preferably counterbalance
