Senior Design Manager - Boutique Main Contractor - Residential

Falcon Green is currently recruiting a Senior Design Manager for a growing boutique Main Contractor that specialises within the ultra-high-end sector in Central London.

Due to planned growth, they are now seeking a Senior Design Manager to manage the Design from Cradle to Grave on a residential refurbishment in Mayfair valued at £13m.

The successful candidate will report to the Technical Director and have worked on projects valued over £10m with the Main Contractor.

Senior Design Manager Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with the client, Project Manager, Design team and consultants.
* Regular meetings with the production team and ensuring all technical issues are addressed immediately
* Manage and coordinate external consultants
* Liaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design works

* Control the design process, from cradle to grave
* Manage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered
* Assist Project Manager in incorporating onto a tracking sheet all internal and external design and cost issues.
* Manage the distribution and production of project workload within the project team and design consultant team.
