The Primary School is within a great location in Westminster.

Being a well-known School within the area the two form entry School has dedicated staff members who not only educate but support pupils emotionally and socially.

The Head Teacher has been within the School for several years and has a fantastic understanding of what makes great TA's. Due to this, they are expecting someone who has an abundance of experience supporting children - this can be paid in school, voluntary or overseas.

A Graduate will need to be confident in their abilities to work with children independently as the TA will need to be capable of supporting both 1:1 and in groups.

With an outgoing and friendly attitude a Graduate is required to make great bonds and relationships with pupils.

The Head Teacher also needs to have a good level of education in both Maths and English (GCSE & A-level) as they will be assisting and supporting pupils across the classroom.

As Teaching Assistants need experience working with children previously a Graduate can be expected to assist the Teacher in many capacities, such as;

• arranging activities
• setting up the classroom
• independently seeking opportunities where assistance is needed
• working with children to achieve targets
• supporting during Sports, Arts, Music lessons
• working 1:1 with pupils
• assisting students in small focus groups - across all subjects
• monitoring targets of specific children
