Huntercombe Hospital Stafford is looking for a Part Time Catering Assistants for 16 hours per week - we are a 36 bedroom hospital set in a country manor house located on the border of Staffordshire and Shropshire, on the A5 just a few miles from junction 12 of the M6, 10 miles from Stafford and Wolverhampton, and 21 miles from Telford. We have three units to look after children and young people with various forms of disorders and complex mental health conditions.
Part Time Catering Assistant
16 hours per week
(shift work, to be worked flexibly including weekends)
Salary: £8.91 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small team of Catering Assistants. Our catering service provides a 4 week patient menu, using a cook/freeze food system.
We are looking for a motivated person who has experience in catering and the preparation, re-heating, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
The successful candidate will have experience of food presentation, storing food products, relevant record keeping, be patient focused, possess high food and safety standards, have excellent communication skills, have a flexible and adaptable approach and work well within a team. Ideally you will have worked in a patient environment and possess good inter-personal skills with patients and relatives. The post involves providing Housekeeping cover when required.
