Contract: 12-month fixed-term basis. Full time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 plus £4,452 London Weighting, if applicable

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our central membership team, where you will provide advice and support to the National Branches District and the Women's Section.

You will ensure that the branches comply with Legions policies and procedures and charity law, as well as providing advice on governance and co-ordinate the services including membership branch compliance such as submission of accounts and training. You will also work the membership management teams in the delivery of Legion strategy and engaging with the membership to secure their involvement.

You will manage the Membership Support Administrator and provide excellent customer service to our members and implement strategies to engage with very different groups of members in view to maintain and strengthen our National Formations.

You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build up successful relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will also have excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage and resolve a number of issues at the same time.

This position can be based in our office or home based, with some requirement to work in central London.
