Education and Training Lead, Yorkshire and Humber Part-time - Full time 35 hours per week Home Based - with regular travel within the Yorkshire and Humber region Salary: £25,375 - £28,420, yearly, dependent on experience, pro rata Permanent Closing date for applications is 9am on Friday 10 December 2021 GamCare is the UK's leading provider of information, advice, and support for anyone affected by gambling-related harms. We work across the UK and deliver support and treatment both directly and through a network of locally based partners. We are looking for an Education and Training Lead in Yorks & Humber to join our expanding programme. Do you have experience of working with children and young people in a youth work or similar setting? Do you want to make a difference by raising awareness of gambling-related harms and promoting safer gambling to young people and youth-facing professionals in the Yorks & Humber region? If so, you could be exactly who we are looking for. You don't need to have experience or understanding of gambling harms, you just need to have the enthusiasm to learn all about it in a non-judgemental way. We do need you to have great facilitation and training skills; be able to promote our services and build strong regional networks to raise awareness of how gambling-related harms can affect young people and their communities. You will form part of an enthusiastic team who are committed to supporting those affected by gambling-related harm across the United Kingdom, and work with a supportive programme leadership team. The role will require you to travel and deliver training and workshops in the Yorks & Humber region, as well as complete administrative work at home.
