Who we are

We are an alternative school and education charity with a 20-year track record, built on an ethos of creative and individualised learning. The education we provide is tailor-made for each child, based on their needs, interests and ambitions. The role

The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for planning and structuring the individual curriculum and education pathway for each student, tracking their progress and supporting their transition from school into Post-16 college placements.

The key to this role is recognising the strengths and needs of each individual student and curating a bespoke experience that will help them rediscover their passion for learning. Working within a cohesive and supportive team, the Curriculum Coordinator deputises for the team leader (Education Support Officer), helping all students needs be taken into account in decision making.

You will need:

Experience of working with students with SEN and SEMH
The ability to plan and progress a programme of work to strict deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The willingness to work flexibly and to adapt quickly to changing operational requirements

We run ongoing paid professional development for all staff on Thursday afternoons - 4.
