KS2 Teacher (Year 4)

Location: Chatham, Kent

Start Date: Jan 2022

Overview: A Teacher is required for a local primary school who can teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum in a Year 4 Class with full teaching responsibilities.

A Teacher is required for a local primary school who can teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum as a full time Year 4 teacher. This role is a 2 term contract (end at the end of the academic year) with the potential it to be transitioned to a permanent role. The Primary Schools is a top performing school in the area and rated 'Good' by Ofsted in 2017.

The Headteacher has an impressive positive attitude, and enthusiasm is shown by their wonderful children. The students are confident, articulate and kind, with a genuine love of learning. The school also have a talented staff team, who have high expectations for what their children can achieve and are totally committed to providing them with the right opportunities, support and challenge. This has been a strong factor during Covid-19 disruption. Together, the school is now well placed to build on their current achievements and move forward to create an even brighter future for our children.

About the role:

  • Recognised teaching qualification PGCE / QTS (or the equivalent)
  • Relevant Key Stage teaching experience
  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
  • DBS on the update service or be willing to get one
  • Practices to develop and encourage pupil's interests and knowledge
