All about the role

I.T. & Privacy Manager

As the iSmash I.T. & Privacy Manager you will be responsible for all I.T. and information security matters across the company, reporting to the Finance Director. This includes the I.T. infrastructure (connectivity, telephony, hardware), user support, systems, and information security. You will initially manage a team of one to two people and a range of external service providers and consultants including Oryx Align (managed services provider), RepairQ (repair management system provider), I.T. Governance (Information security consultant) , and an outsourced website developer.

iSmash are looking to appoint an experienced and passionate senior manager into this role as part of their fast-growing team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  1. Connectivity and telephony - Development and support of the connectivity and telephony infrastructure across the company through the company's outsourced provider, Oryx align.
  2. Connectivity and telephony - Roll out Microsoft business voice solution in collaboration with Oryx align.
  3. Information security - Maintain and improve information security measures across the company including GDPR compliance, Cyber security, ISO27001, and Penetration testing in collaboration with the company's outsource consultant, I.T. Governance.
  4. Systems- administrate, support and manage the development of an off the shelf cloud-based repair management system (RepairQ) ensuring that the system continues to meet the company's requirements and performs in line with expectations.
  5. Systems - collaborated with the in-house digital marketing team and outsourced website developer to administrate, support and development of the company's website.
  6. Systems - administrate and manage the company's Microsoft Office 365 account.
  7. User support - software and hardware support all users across the business (currently 150 colleagues).
  8. Other - lead various I.T. and information security activities and projects.

Minimum experience required:

  1. 2+ year's experience in a senior IT manager role
  2. Experience within an Information security role or project with a good understanding GDPR and Cyber security.
  3. Microsoft office 365
  4. Desktop support knowledge as well as Microsoft EndPoint manager.
  5. AWS would be an advantage.
