What will my duties be?

  • Responding to business queries & requests for change, raising with external parties & managing through to resolution.
  • Co-Ordinate the scheduling of rates updates & fixes in accordance with available resource via an effective and robust Release Management schedule for the group with key stake holders such as Underwriting and Pricing.
  • Ensure all rates updates are tested and signed off within the agreed timescales.
  • Work closely with change management on the co-ordination of change updates & releases into live environments.
  • Work closely with the Product Delivery & Product Build teams supporting the co-ordination of all product releases on both internal and external systems.
  • Maintain detailed records & processes which co-ordinate the release schedule of product changes / fixes ensuring full transparency with all key stakeholders.
  • Documenting processes and ensuring effective controls are in place and followed for activities supported within the team.
  • Operate product change management processes to smooth the automation of processes across the group where possible.
  • Support the completion of impact assessments on all queries submitted for review and for complex product changes utilising your analytical skills to ensure the changes being submitted deliver the desired impact or resolution. Your analysis will need to focus on capturing all aspects of the change/fix so that changes are applied to Production at the earliest opportunity without creating delays.
  • Conduct and support incident management processes for key issues raised
  • Provide operational support to all relevant business areas on EDI & MID related issues, including all key stakeholders. This involves the processing of daily failed EDI to ensure we comply with MID time to supply SLA's.
  • Support the analysis of failed EDI with the Product Assurance team.
  • Act as a workstream lead or provide support for projects as required.


What is the salary and hours?

A highly competitive annual salary of £22,000 - £28,000 is on offer. The role is full time and permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

We offer a Hybrid Working model after completion of training which encompasses 2 days working in the office in Whitstable and 3 days working from home. You will also receive state of the art equipment and technology to complete the role to the best of your ability from home!

What we're looking for:

  • Knowledge of the existing UK insurance markets, including direct, broker and software house distribution channels.
  • Ability to understand and respond to business demands in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Good overall knowledge of IT and Microsoft applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good problem assessment & an ability to prioritise.
