We have an opportunity for an experienced Lifecycle Delivery Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week 08:30-17:30. There will be a requirement to work flexibly and may require some evening, night and weekend work. This role will be placed on the duty manager rota.

As Lifecycle Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery of capital replacement/lifecycle activities as indicated within the Forward Maintenance Plan (FMP). Ensuring that the annual FMP budget is generated, forecast and managed on an ongoing basis, demonstrating value for money. Ensuring that the status of all FMP activities and budget are appropriately tracked and managed.

You will provide management oversight of all works to ensure that risks to personnel, security, critical infrastructure and customer operations are fully mitigated. Liaison with the G4S Lifecycle Director, Capital Replacement Contractor, Project Management Team (PMO) and other site stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Work with the Technical Services Manager to agree the annual Forward Maintenance Plan (FMP)
With support from Line Manager and the Technical Services Manager, generate and manage the annual FMP budget and effectively communicate any deviation
Ensure the Forward Maintenance Plan is delivered within budget and forecast, utilising internal and sub-contractor delivery resource as appropriate
Provide management support to Lifecycle Works Supervisor/s (direct report/s) delivering activities
Liaise with the G4S Lifecycle Director and the Capital Replacement Contractor, to secure funding, ensure good working practices and VFM. Utilise Commercial support for contractual interpretation where necessary
Create individual Lifecycle Work Packages to include a 'Specification of Requirements' for each identified to allow works to be competitively costed and delivered via supplier and internal resource as required
Ensure that all works have a minimal impact on Energy and the Environment, taking advantage of current technologies and good industry practice, considering any contractual limitations
Manage and track all FMP activities/budget and ensure appropriate records are kept
Identify relevant funding source/s for all works, and utilise the support of Subject Matter Experts where necessary
Monitor, review and approve works costs to ensure that they remain within budgetary thresholds
Undertake periodic inspections of the works to ensure that the specified scope of work is being met and safe working practices are being followed
Meet with all stakeholders on a regular basis to review progress against plan, and effectively manage and communicate any deviation from plan
Provide monthly Progress Reports to relevant stakeholders as appropriate, clearly identifying any slippage, additions or omissions during the plan period
Ensure all works consider contractual requirements, as well as Security, relevant Industry and H&S Standards.
Review and prioritise FMP activities on a regular basis to ensure that planned activities meet both short and long term infrastructure requirements and business needs, flexing as necessary to meet the available lifecycle budget and available resources.
Ensure that all delivered/completed works are effectively handed over to the operational team.
Work closely with other team managers and colleagues to ensure a cohesive team-working approach.

Building Services degree or equivalent experience
H&S qualification
An understanding of Energy and Environment
Experience of secure and critical environments
Experience of operating within a PPP/ PFI
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering results
Ability to work openly and collaboratively at all levels
Experience in engaging and managing sub-contractors
