About Montessori by Busy Bees Green Gables

Welcome to Montessori by Busy Bees Green Gables, a truly unique nursery nestled in the heart of Shadwell, East London. With a wonderful long-standing team, a beautiful outdoor garden and a distinctive setting within the grounds of a church, our nursery offers something a little different!

A team that feels like family

Our experienced and dedicated team is at the heart of everything we do. With low staff turnover, we pride ourselves on providing consistency, building meaningful relationships and creating a warm, supportive environment where children, families and colleagues feel right at home.

A unique Montessori learning experience

Our Montessori Bee Curious Curriculum brings together the very best of Montessori education and our curiosity-led Bee Curious approach. We encourage children to take the lead, make choices and follow their interests through purposeful, hands-on learning experiences.

Our specially designed spaces cater for babies, toddlers, two- to three-year-olds and pre-school children, ensuring every age group has an environment tailored to their individual needs.

With carefully selected Montessori resources and materials, children are encouraged to develop independence, concentration, coordination, problem-solving and practical life skills. Our passionate team acts as guides, supporting each child's journey and helping them develop confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Beautiful outdoor spaces and a unique setting

Our large outdoor garden is a real highlight, offering plenty of natural shade and space for children to explore, enjoy imaginative play, develop physical skills and connect with nature.

And there's something particularly special about our building! Situated within the church crypt, our nursery benefits from naturally cool indoor spaces, providing a comfortable environment for children throughout the warmer summer months.
